Home-owned and operated from the downtown area of Albuquerque, NM, Handywerks has been designing hand crafted web solutions since 1996. Handywerks does not use Front Page, or ready made templates, preferring to write code that comes from first-hand experience, using standardized code recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This results in leaner pages that are faster loading, are search engine friendly, cross-browser compatible, and most of all, user friendly. All of our sites are custom designed for, and with the client in mind.

Handywerks is owned and operated by Ed Hudgeons, a frustrated electronics parts salesman turned woodworker turned General Contractor. Ed built his first web site for a friend in 1994 just to see if he could. It was so successful that others called on him to build theirs. After a couple of years, the web business was outstripping his contracting business, and came with the added benefit of being much easier on the body parts. In 1996, Handywerks the Contractor was reborn as Handywerks Promotional Constructors.

Providing full service web solutions is our specialty. From a personal web page for local exposure to fully interactive online e-commerce sites, Handywerks will work with the client from inception to final publication and beyond, within the client's needs, requirements, and budget constraints. We are known for our no-hype, straight forward, up-front and honest rapport with our clients. We help guide and educate those that are new to the web environment, but can certainly address any issue with the most experienced with confidence and candor.
